ABOUT HEATHER

Trained in her early 20's as an estate auctioneer in the San Francisco Bay Area, Heather's 30-year career is threaded with mostly nonprofit experiences that include communications, marketing, writing, event planning, and fundraising strategy. 

Having served in executive positions in nonprofit communication and development, and with a decade of fundraising consultancy under her belt, she brings a balanced and comprehensive understanding of strategic planning, budgeting, and board, staff and donor engagement tools needed to meet challenges. As your consultant, she brings goal-driven, level-headed passion to each project, motivated by the desire to see you and your team streamline and set course for the sustainability and growth needed to continue your good work.

Heather's auctioneering experience began at age 23 as the first woman and youngest person to work the auction block at Clar's Estate Gallery in Oakland California. Since moving to Colorado in 1997, her expertise has benefitted nonprofits of every size and stripe at over a hundred fundraising events. Learning about your mission and positively articulating your message to inspire and invite a room of supporters to give is the reason she loves and excels at her craft.
